Asparagus is probably something everyone likes and everyone looks forward to the moment when you can buy it in any store. I personally do not have a favorite, I love both white and green asparagus, the cream of white asparagus is an absolute miracle, and the green one in risotto conquers everyone’s heart.
Puff pastry snacks can also be prepared for various occasions. They can be a great snack at work or a great option to feed your guests at home. Remember to watch out for its expiry date!

ASPARAGUS – choose these firm asparagus with stiff tips. You can cut the lower part or just break them, they will break exactly where the asparagus is good to eat.

VEGAN BACON – I absolutely love this delicacy very much. It is sensational and I reach for it whenever it is on sale in the store. Instead, you can also use baked tofu, seitan or other substitutes.

INGREDIENTS (8 pcs)
- 1 packet of puff pastry
- 16 green asparagus
- Vegan bacon
- Vegan cheese grated
- green onion
- Salt pepper

ASPARAGUS POCKETS – PREPARATION
- Take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator and let sit in the room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the hard ends of the asparagus and put it in boiling salted water for 2 minutes. Take it out and set aside to cool slightly.
- In the meantime, roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 8 equal pieces. For each such piece diagonally, first add a tablespoon of cheese, a tablespoon of bacon and a teaspoon of green onion. Then add two asparagus on top, lightly sprinkle with salt and fold the sides so that we get a half-envelope.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 10-15 minutes.
